About Us

Panama Rehearsal Studios is here to serve the hard-working musicians of the Ozarks

Construction began in the fall of 2010, but the dream goes much further back.  Originally from Springfield, owner Bryan Foster was living in the Tampa Bay area of Florida in the late 90’s. The region was a breeding ground for exceptional rock bands, and the M.O.was to rehearse in warehouses that had been divided into several small “rehearsal rooms”.  The idea was adequate, but the execution left something to be desired.  The rooms were small, spartan, and not at all soundproof.

This problem stuck with Bryan, and after moving back to the Springfield area, he decided to fix it, providing local bands with the most convenient, efficient and beneficial rehearsal space possible.  Panama Rehearsal Studios would take advantage of every feasible method of sound isolation, and outfit the space with a complete sound and light system, and furnish it with all the necessary gear that a band would need.

Panama opened on June 10th, 2011, with the “Grand Opening Battle of the Bands”.  Q102 FM provided a live remote, with on-air talent Bailey and Shadow acting as judges for 10 (count ‘em!) bands. Hundreds of people filled the studio, halls, and parking lots of Panama to watch the local bands compete, including acts such as Nocturnal Nation, Sovereign, BadMinxx, and Fraught With Peril.

Many of the bands from our grand opening remain clients to this day.

Call us now to see how we can take your rehearsal, and your performance, to the next level.
